Vonn to receive ladies’ super combined World Cup globe

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, 11th March 2010//- The FIS Council members attending the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals 2010 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER) have confirmed that Lindsey Vonn (USA) will receive the ladies' super combined World Cup globe after heading the rankings for the 2009/2010 season.

Following the cancellation of the third scheduled super combined competition in Crans-Montana (SUI) on 5th March, the final standings for the ladies' Audi FIS Ski World Cup super combined World Cup are based on the results of the two competitions that were held in Val d'Isère (FRA) and St. Moritz (SUI) and are as follows:
1. Lindsey Vonn (USA) 160 points
2. Anja Paerson (SWE) 150 points
3. Michaela Kirchgasser (AUT) 130 points

Vonn will be awarded the coveted small crystal globe for the ladies' super combined during the official award ceremony on Saturday evening 13th March in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where also the men's super combined and the large crystal globes for the ladies' and men's overall World Cup will be awarded.
