Tina Weirather stays on Atomic, Eva-Maria Brem moves to Völkl

Tina Weirather, the second best female downhiller this season, has confirmed that she has signed an extension of her contract with Atomic for the next three seasons. This means that Weirather will ski on Atomic at the 2013 FIS World Ski Championships in Schladming, the 2014 Olympic Winter Games iN Sochi and the 2015 FIS World Ski Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek.

Coming back from major injuries, the soon 23-year-old Weirather had a stellar season with eleven top ten results including her career first podium places both in downhill and super-G for a total of five podium appearances. She finished 2nd in the downhill season rankings and 7th in the super-G.

Meanwhile, Austrian Eva-Maria Brem has announced that she has signed with Völkl and has already trained with the new material. Besides Völkl skis, Brem will sport Fischer's boots and Marker bindings. Brem's best event is giant slalom in which she saw two top ten finishes this season.
