The men's team will be captained by veteran Didier Cuche and also include Daniel Albrecht, Marc Berthod, Didier Defago, Carlo Janka, Sandro Viletta and Marc Gini. On the women's side there will be Fabienne Suter, Lara Gut and the 19-year-old Andrea Dettling.

This trio topped the standings after a three-run selection trial held at Saas-Fee. The 23-year-old Suter claimed two SG wins last season in Bormio and Sestriere, while the rising star Gut placed second in the downhill on the home snow of St. Moritz. Gut and Detting will make their first ever appearance in a Giant Slalom competition.

The World Cup kick-off is set for October 25th and 26th in the Austrian venue Sölden.
