As the Austrian men and ladies and the Swiss men before them, the Swiss ladies' team has also kicked off their dry-land training season on Mallorca. The ladies led by Fabienne Suter and Nadja Kamer enjoyed their trip to the Mediterranean. For them it is the first time visiting the Hürzeler Bicycle Holidays and the athletes took full advantage of the opportunity.
"With this panorama and turquoise seas it is easy to fight through the hard training units", said Nadja Kamer.
"It is a nice change to have different conditions and beautiful surroundings so it is great fun! A perfect alternative to the normal routine," added Rahel Kopp.
"I try to keep up with our guide Oli kilometer after kilometer and discover this amazing island. Our conditioning coach Luca is great at adding creative ideas to the hard training units!! We are having a great time in Spain!!!“ stated Fabienne Suter.
Tina Weirather concludes: "It is easy to work hard and sweat in ideal climate conditions with holiday feeling. After all, the World Championships are approaching rapidly and we are all very motivated for the tough preparations."
