Every year, Båstad, Sweden hosts the Skistar Swedish Open in tennis. As Skistar is also one of the sponsors to the Swedish alpine team, the summer tennis tournament in the city contains some alpine elements.

Swedish reacers Jessica Lindell Vikarby and Markus Larsson together with the Swedish ladies head coach Fredrik Steinwall staged a training camp for youngsters both Friday and Saturday morning.

The one-hour cross-fit session focused on the legs, and on how to get in shape for the winter season. The schedule included jumps, squat jumps, lunges and more. The participants had for sure some muscle ache in their legs the day after!

Asfor the tennis tournament, in the final with two Spanish players, the favorite David Ferrer, ranked 5th in the world, beat Nicolas Almagro with 6-2, 6-2.
