Thanks to the below zero temperatures at Levi, snow-making has got under way on the Levi Black competition slope in Finland. The current status with snow-making is on par with historical comparisons. The canons are running and the continuing temperatures below freezing enable the snow-making.
The resort is also making snow for other slopes and the first slope is scheduled to open on Friday 26th October.“The situation is positive. We still have two weeks until the official Snow Control and the forecast is continuing to predict temperatures below freezing”, commented Levi World Cup's Secretary General Mikko Saarinen.
