Viktoria Rebensburg, 2010 Olympic champion in ladies' giant slalom, has decided to stick to her childhood brand Nordica, she announces on her homepage.
"Exciting days are over. After some reflection and tests I have deciced to stay loyal to my old ski firm, and we have many plans," she writes.
Rebensburg is reported to have tested at least the Swiss brand Stöckli, on which Tina Maze won two Olympic silver medals. She finished 4th in the season GS rankings and claimed her career-first World Cup podium last season in the GS in Cortina d'Ampezzo (ITA) in January.
Nordica has a small but fine racing team, and returned home from the Vancouver Games with two gold medals and a bronze medal as besides Viktoria Rebensburg Italy's Giuliano Razzoli and Andre Myhrer of Sweden won medals in the men's slalom, gold and bronze, respectively.
