Spectacular modifications to the nationale piste arrival schuss
Shortly prior to the beginning of the season, modifications to the lower part of the legendary Piste Nationale were completed. In removing the copse which separated the final schuss in two, the piste has been considerably widened, thus offering new perspectives not only for Alpine ski, but also for snowboard and freestyle. In this way Crans-Montana proves that it spares no effort to improve the ski area, for both competitive and public skiing.
Free access to the World Cup races
The entrance for the spectators to the three days of races is free of charge. A ticket will only be necessary for the standing places on the Tribune in the finish area, which costs CHF 10.00 per day and per person.
The tickets are available at:
- Crans-Montana Tourism: counters in Montana as well as in Crans
- Cable car CMA: counter at the bottom of the Violettes-Plaine Morte
- Funicular Sierre-Montana: counter in Sierre
During the 3 days of racing, access to the cable car Les Violettes will be quite difficult. Spectators with skis are invited to use the other cable cars from Crans, Montana or Aminona. Spectators wanting to proceed directly to the finish area of the Piste Nationale, please use the free shuttle service.
