Bad injury for Dominik Paris, the 23-year-old Italian speed racer from Val d'Ultimo who fell on a run near his house and sustained a third grade lesion in his left shoulder.
Paris was examined in the hospital of Merano immeditealy afterwards and today again in Milan including an MRI exam under the control of FISI medical commission.
An operation is set for later today or this evening in Merano or in Bolzano.
The injury Paris sustained rapidly turned out to be rather severe which is why the FISI medical staff felt that an immediate operation is necessary. The needed recovery time will be assessed following the intervention.
