Last night at the Milka hut evening in the Tirol mountain in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Milka Ski Girls Maria Riesch, Michaela Kirchgasser, Tina Maze and Sarka Zahrobska celebrated a very successful World Championships together with their sponsor. Five of the medals went to the athletes with the purple helmet: 2 bronze (downhill and super-G), 2 silver (Nation Team Event and super combined) and 1 gold (giant slalom).

The evening was also used to thank all partners for the good cooperation and to pass on the Milka World Championships cow, having been signed by all the World Championships medal winners, to the managing director of the Organizing Committee Peter Fischer and Mayor Thomas Schmid.

Surprise guests, were the two Austrian slalom medal winners of the day Kathrin Zettel (silver) and Marlies Schild (gold). Musical entertainment was provided by the Vorarlberg band HMBC, "Holstuonarmusigbigbandclub" among other things with its hit song "Vo Mello to GE Schoppornou".
