Jerman fastest in 2nd Lauberhorn training

The Slovenian Andrej Jerman Recorded The best time in the final training for the Lauberhorn downhill (start at 12:30 CET on Saturday).

Jerman, who won the last World Cup downhill in Bormio, distancedthe Austrian Klaus Kroell, in Wengen by 0.09 seconds. The Italian Peter Fill, in 3rd,already lost about six tenths.

Of the favorites Carlo Janka, and Aksel Lund Svindal had tointerrupt their training rus after a fall of Ambrosi Hoffmann who started ahead of them. Hoffmann, who crashed at The entrance to the final S curve, complained of pain in his left arm.

On Friday Wengen will host the season's third super combined. The shortened downhil is setat 10:30 CET, The slalom at 13:30 CET.
