Head has announced that the Norwegian World Cup race winner Kjetil Jansrud has renewed his contract with them until 2015. Jansrud will continue using the entire package of skis, bindings, boots, helmet and goggles!
Kjetil Jansrud made his breakthrough in winning the downhill in Kvitfjell last season to add to his four second places and five third places on the FIS Alpine World Cup. Jansrud also won silver in the 2010 Olympic giant slalom.
After deciding to stay with Head, Kjetil said: “I am excited to sign for another 3 years. This is proof of the great cooperation I have with the company, as well as everyone working within the racing department. During the two years I have been with Head, I have grown Head wants to keep on working with me through a period of two world championships and the Olympic Games in Sochi. I have high hopes for the future, aiming for, but not limited to, the World Cup Overall win and with Head I have every means to succeed."
The Head manager Rainer Salzgeber added: ”The progress Kjetil made in DH and SG has proven him to be a very important member of our team. I am sure he will also play a major role in the race for the overall World Cup. We’re happy to keep him in the team!”
