Innerhofer and Feuz delay training

Italy’s Christof Innerhofer pauses training to recover from back injuries following a car crash in Verona. The 27-year-old super-G world champion was preparing the new season at Les Deux Alpes (FRA) when he decided to take time off. He hopes to be back in action to join his teammates for on-snow training in Argentina beginning August 24.

On the Swiss Team’s side, Beat Feuz is still nursing his left knee injury he has been struggling with last season. A first test on skis showed that his knee is not yet in shape to absorb strain. The coming weeks will give him time to recover and hopefully regain full form.
