On 9th June 2012, Günter Hujara (GER) will be turning 60. Günter has worked in the White Circuit for more than 30 years. In 1991, he was appointed Race Director for the Ladies World Cup and became the men's Chief Race Director Alpine Skiing the following season. Before, Günter was Coach for the German Ski Association from 1976 until 1991. His current role on the Men’s World Cup circuit means 365 days of management, organization and preparation, meetings, discussions and finding solutions. However, Günter considers it as “a passion, not a normal job”. "Seeing the bright eyes of the winners and the cheering fans after an event that demanded great effort from our side, creates a deep feeling of satisfaction" he states.
FIS extends its best wishes to Günter Hujara!
