The German ladies Alpine Ski Team flew on Friday evening in direction of Cyprus to start preparations for the World Championships winter. The team arrived in Larnaca with some delay but ready for the first training camp of the year. The main focus will be on road cycling around the island.
The entire ladies team will be training for 10 days together to build a basis for the long season.
Also joining the team after the serious injury last season is Susanne Riesch who is excited to be back: "I am super happy to be back training with the team."
Despite the late arrival, the ladies took on their first training already 11AM on Saturday monring in beautiful sunny weather in 26C.
