The Christmas race of Bormio has been given the green light.
Snow control took place on the slope today and the results were positive.
The famous downhill will be held on December 28th ahead of the short New Year gap.
As with the rest of Europe, the Italian resort has received copious amounts of snow over the last ten days with conditions ideal.
